Mass Spectomery Scientist

Join our customer's innovative team as a Mass Spectomery Scientist, where you will drive scientific discovery through advanced mass spectrometry techniques in a flexible remote setting. Key Responsibilities: Develop, optimize, and validate mass spectrometry methods for qualitative and quantitative analyses of complex samples; Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot mass spectrometry instruments and associated laboratory equipment; Interpret, analyze, and report data with precision; Collaborate cross-functionally with research, development, and quality teams to support project goals and timelines; Document experimental procedures, results, and conclusions; Stay current with advancements in mass spectrometry technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives; Communicate project progress and findings. Required Skills and Qualifications: Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in mass spectrometry techniques and instrumentation; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets; Proficiency in method development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of MS systems; Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities; Experience working with multidisciplinary teams; Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting; MS or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Science, or related field. Preferred: Experience with data analysis software specific to mass spectrometry (e.g., Xcalibur, MassLynx); Publication record or experience presenting research findings at scientific conferences; Familiarity with regulatory or quality standards in analytical laboratories.
