Purpose of the Role

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate reliable cloud infrastructure that powers our backend, data, and mobile products.

This is a hands-on role with broad impact across AWS infrastructure, infrastructure as code, CI/CD across backend and mobile, security controls, observability, and disaster recovery. You’ll collaborate closely with Backend, Frontend, QA, and Data teams to reduce delivery friction, increase reliability, and ensure systems are safe and operable in production.

What You’ll Own

• Design and operate AWS infrastructure across dev, staging, and production
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform / CloudFormation / Pulumi)
• Own CI/CD pipelines for backend, data, and mobile (iOS & Android)
• Improve automation, reduce configuration drift, and streamline delivery workflows
• Embed security, quality checks, and secrets management into infrastructure and pipelines
• Ensure observability, incident readiness, and reliable backup & disaster recovery
• Improve developer experience through tooling, templates, and shared patterns

Ideal Profile

• Strong hands-on experience running production systems on AWS
• Solid infrastructure-as-code skills with safe, auditable multi-environment workflows
• Proven experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines (backend, data, mobile)
• Good understanding of cloud security, IAM least privilege, and secrets management
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, incident response, and post-mortems
• Familiarity with data systems and event-driven architectures (queues, async, retries)
• Collaborative, delivery-focused mindset with attention to reliability and automation
