Finance Manager (EMEA)

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all countries within their portfolio have robust financial and commercial management, controls, and reporting in place, in line with both CBRE and client requirements. This role is part of the Finance Strategy and Operations function and plays a key role in maintaining strong accounting, financial, and reporting governance across a complex, multinational environment. What You Will Do: • Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for multiple countries, ensuring compliance with internal controls and reporting deadlines • Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide clear, insightful financial commentary to senior stakeholders • Lead the annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting cycles, strategic planning activities, and standard management reporting • Manage month-end close processes, including review and approval of journal entries and account reconciliations • Review consolidated reporting packs and balance sheet analyses for accuracy and completeness • Produce routine and ad hoc financial reports, pro forma analyses, and presentations for senior management and planning units • Ensure revenue recognition and cost allocation are compliant with CBRE accounting policies, UK GAAP, and commercial agreements • Support internal and external audit processes, including coordination of the annual audit • Coordinate the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of accounting policies, procedures, and controls • Line-manage a team; including performance management, coaching, development planning, and succession planning • Oversee team capacity planning, task allocation, cross-training, and deadline management • Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, operations, and auditors.
