Backend Engineer

Design and build scalable APIs and backend services in Python (Django/FastAPI); own backend architecture from data modelling to deployment; optimize SQL, NoSQL and vector stores; integrate LLM/NLP capabilities; collaborate with frontend and product teams; uphold engineering standards through code reviews, testing and CI/CD. Requirements: 3+ years backend experience, strong Python skills, production experience with Django or FastAPI, familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), modern databases (relational, document, vector), Git and API design; ML/NLP and AI developer tool experience a plus.
