As Lead ML/AI Platform Engineer you will own the ML platform from training to production: training infrastructure, model serving, inference pipelines, integration with Java microservices, and drive GenAI/LLM and agent strategies. Require 8+ years software/ML engineering (5+ with production ML), strong Python, Java, AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, Athena, Redshift), ML tooling (MLflow, JupyterLab, Spark), frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow, scikit-learn, XGBoost/LightGBM), familiarity with vector DBs (pgvector, Pinecone), MLOps best practices, and ability to operate as an independent contractor with overlap to US Pacific hours.
