Senior Backend Engineer: Machine Learning Infrastructure

Build and operate shared backend services and platform capabilities for ML and product teams, owning core services, model serving (including LLMs), data pipelines, and high-load distributed systems. Partner with ML and product teams to deliver reliable, scalable APIs and self-service infrastructure. Requires 5+ years in backend/platform engineering, extensive Python, cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) or Kubernetes experience (AWS preferred), strong knowledge of data structures/algorithms, system design and ownership. Nice-to-haves: Rust/Go/C++, ML platforms, vector DBs, model serving, Terraform.
