Senior Gameplay Programmer - EMEA

We’re Sandbox VR, the most advanced virtual reality experience in the world. Sandbox VR is hiring a Senior Gameplay Programmer to build player interactions, AI behaviors, and core systems in Unity for immersive multiplayer VR experiences. Responsibilities include implementing game mechanics and AI behaviors for 6-person multiplayer experiences, mentoring other programmers, pushing Unity engine limits and optimizations, developing tools and processes, writing robust maintainable code, rapid prototyping, collaborating with art and design, fixing gameplay bugs, and owning technical areas of the experience. Requirements include exceptional C# skills with at least 5 years of software programming experience, significant Unity engine experience, having shipped at least 2 commercial games (PC or Console preferred), leadership or team lead experience, strong game design understanding, and ideally VR headset experience.
