💼 The opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Reliability Engineer I (SRE I) to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our cloud-native infrastructure.

This includes developing and maintaining Kubernetes-based environments, managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Terragrunt, and supporting the software factory in DevOps activities such as CI/CD pipeline optimization and troubleshooting.

You will also be involved in the administration of Linux Ubuntu systems, ensuring their stability and performance. A deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and automation best practices will be essential for success in this role.

💻 Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of complex cloud-native/Kubernetes environments (Kubernetes, Terraform, Terragrunt)
• Infrastructure IaC management
• Support the software factory in DevOps activities (CI/CD, troubleshooting, etc.)
• Cloudera cluster configuration and maintenance
• Linux Ubuntu system administration

🛠️ Requirements

• Essential on-site work: Rome, Italy for 1 year
• Italian language knowledge required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Good knowledge of Linux systems
